By playing TokenHunter at tokenhunter.game (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
TokenHunter is a free puzzle game that runs in your browser. You can also make your own boards, share them as links, and hide a gift on a board for a friend to find.
2. Who can use TokenHunter
Anyone can play. To make and share boards, Series or gifts, you must be 13 or older, or have a parent's or legal guardian's permission. If you are under the age of majority where you live, your parent or guardian agrees to these terms on your behalf and is responsible for what you share.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use boards, board names, clues or gifts to harass anyone, to deceive or phish, to spread malware, or to share anything illegal. Do not try to disrupt, overload or attack the Service.
4. What you make
The boards, names, clues and gifts you make are yours. They live in your browser and inside the links you share; we do not host or review them. You are responsible for what you send, and for having the right to share it.
A gift is a keepsake, not a safe. Anyone with the link who walks the route can open it, and nothing can take it back once the link is sent. Do not use a gift to send passwords, gift-card codes or anything else of value.
5. Reporting abuse
If you receive a board, clue or gift that breaks these terms, please report it. We read every report. If the link is a short link (tokenhunter.game/b/…), we can delete its stored copy, after which it can no longer be retrieved through TokenHunter. A full-length link carries its board inside it, so we cannot delete a full-length link that has already been sent.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Your progress and boards are stored in your browser and can be lost if its data is cleared; keep a backup of anything you want to keep.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.
8. Indemnification
You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising from the boards, links and gifts you make or share, or from your breach of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. This does not take away any protection the law where you live gives you and that cannot be waived.
10. Changes
We may change the Service or these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date above will be revised.
