Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to play TokenHunter. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
Playing your way
Keyboard. Move with the arrow keys or W A S D. Every screen and dialog can be used from the keyboard. In the board editor, the arrow keys move and Shift with an arrow key paints a line of tiles.
Touch. On a phone or tablet, swipe, or tap a tile next to you to step onto it.
Screen readers. The board is labelled, and every move is announced: what happened (something collected, a gate opened, the Wallet unlocked, a win or a loss), then where you are and which ways are open.
Motion. TokenHunter follows your device's reduced-motion setting, and you can also turn on Reduced Motion in Settings.
Sound. Sound effects can be turned off in Settings or with the SFX button during play.
Time. Solo boards have no time limit.
How we check
Before each release, every theme is checked automatically against WCAG 2.1 levels A and AA. Automated checks do not catch everything, so we also rely on reports from players.
Known limitations
A hidden gift opens only when someone walks the route its sender drew. There is no other way to open it, because the game cannot read the gift without that route. If you cannot finish a board, the sender can tell you the route.
Report a barrier
If something in TokenHunter is hard or impossible for you to use, email [email protected]. It helps to say what you were trying to do, and which device, browser and assistive technology you use.
